Calculate Art and Jewellery Insurance Premium
Many people often ask questions about insurance premium rates for art and jewellery coverage.
A professional art and jewellery insurance policy should cover on a worldwide basis including but not limited to fire, water damage, theft, robbery, burglary, and/or accidental damage that maybe caused during an exhibition or display, wearing, hand-carrying, packing and unpacking, and moving.
The insurance premium is charged according to a number of risk factors such as security and protection, the fragility of items to be insured, the frenquency of movement, your insurance claim experience. The average premium is listed below.
Personal fine art collection:
- Insured Value SGD300,000 or below Premium SGD1,000 per annum (minimum per policy)
- Insured Value SGD600,000 Premium SGD2,000 per annum
- Insured Value SGD1,000,000 Premium SGD3,000 per annum
- Insured Value SGD10,000,000 Premium SGD15,000 per annum
Personal jewellery collection:
- Insured Value SGD50,000 or below Premium SGD1,000 per annum (minimum per policy)
- Insured Value SGD100,000 Premium SGD2,000 per annum
- Insured Value SGD300,000 Premium SGD4,500 per annum
- Insured Value SGD1,000,000 Premium SGD12,500 per annum
